Fine Lake Views, Charming Outdoor Spaces, Intimate and Cozy Setting
The hot tub access fees are frustrating!!! The rooms definitely need modernization. Outdated furnishings and dusty corners don't belong in a high-priced hotel!!! A larger, inviting lounge area for poor weather would be fantastic!!!

Great choice for trip. Exceptional service, tasty breakfast spread. Not to mention good wifi! Huge rooms, fab secluded location. Nice restaurant with wonderful cuisine, very polite staff.

The hotel is set in a beautiful place. It's so quiet and tranquil. Everything is so tastefully done. I really enjoyed the stay. we were attending a wedding at the glasson golf hotel and there were no rooms available there. The wineport was the closest hotel.
It is quite expensive. It cost 170 euro for the night. I also priced a weekend away there at reception for a friday and saturday night I was quoted 245 euro per person which is pretty expensive. I would recommend the hotel but would caution people to check prices as they may be somewhat off putting.

lodge style was very nice on a very tranquil lake setting
The hotel was doing upgrade repairs at the time, so painting and hammering and drilling during breakfast. this could have been timed for 10.30 onwards afterbreakfast or when there was no guests in the area. It was a little off putting to enjoy a breakfast overlooking a tranquil lake while 4 workers were busy 4 ft from our table.

LOcation is out of this world- spa is first class - food excellant and staff helpful and friendly
Housekeeping not great - our beds were just pulled up on 2nd day - not shook out -sheets creased and tissue left under pillow need to be addressed as a priority

Had an awesome group getaway with friends! The lake views were amazing, and we loved the outdoor hot tubs. Spent time exploring Lough Key forest park for zip-lining and Boda Borg quests. Plus, we enjoyed a round of golf nearby. Perfect spot for both adventure and relaxation!
Only downside was when we ordered two desserts and got the wrong ones. While the food was good, it seemed like a small mix-up that shouldn't happen, especially in a place like this.

We had a savoury breakfast meal with pastries and the most relaxing view, as for instance at the restaurant.

The views over the water from both the restaurant and the bedrooms are utterly glorious and we were sorry we only had the one night there.
The shape of the restaurant is rather long and thin but that cannot be changed and I suppose at least that maintains the wonderful prospects.

Lakeside bliss in Ireland 🌊
We were spoiled with a complimentary drink at check-in, and the staff were just the best, offering to bring us brekkie in bed. Plus, the food was out of this world- lekker!
The only hiccup was the bar menu. It could use a bit more variety for casual snacks.

The warm welcome, and the unasked for upgrade of room. The quality of the room and the view are wonderful. The peace and quiet of our stay was a plus. The food as usual was outstanding and interesting. The staff without exception were friendly and efficient. The glass of champers to celebrate a birthday was most unexpected, but much appreciated. We were reluctant to leave ....but will return.

The fine setting by the lake enhances the experience, and the breakfast delivered to the room adds a good touch. The food selection was limited, and dining options were restrictive after 6 PM. While the staff were cute, the service at times lacked attentiveness, affecting overall enjoyment.

The smoking area/patio was just outside my room and it was too noisy and too smokey to sit out and enjoy the sunset.
